Huge match for two of the mid table teams in the league as Sunderland host Liverpool at the Stadium of light and it will be interesting to see what kind of team Kenny Dalgish put together as they are coming into this match on the back of a winning the Carling Cup and they would love to go out there and win all three points in this one and accelrate their progress towards the Top 4 finish as they season is coming to and end. There are 11 moe matches to play in the league and if Liverpool have any chance of making it to the Top 4 they must win all there games.
Liverpool has a game in hand and if they can win that one and get all three points against Sunderland they will be 7 points behind Arsenal and from than they can build on it, but realisticly they have little chance of securing the Top 4 finish and what they can do is get a Europa League spot and try to win the FA Cup which would make their season a success.
Sunderland on the other hand are kind of a team who on their day can beat any team, they will be confident going into this match as they would love to get all three points in this one and try to finish as high in the league as it possible.
