Benfica 1-1 Manchester United Highlights Champions League 14 Sep 2011

In the first week of the UEFA Champions League action we will have two of the very regular competitiors coming head to head on 14th September 2011, the match between Benfica and Manchester United will be played on the wednesday night in Benfica home ground. These two have been playing against each other year after year and now they are going head to head again.

Manchester United had the upper hand over Benfica, but who will forget those matches in the 2006 when benfica made United kicked out of the competition. Manchester United are playing on top of their game at the moment and it will be interesting to see how this match goes about. Manchster United are playing some solid football of late and they have some of the big name players in their team with the likes of Rooney, Young and hernandez who are all in good form and will be looking to go out there and win all three points.

If United can get all three points in this match, they will be in a very comfortable position throughout the group stages as this is the hardest match they will have in the grup stages and can get through this group by 3 game in the running.
