In the FA Cup semifinal 2011-2012 we had Everton taking on Liverpool in what was a great game between the two sides and it was Everton who started
the game brightly in a way that they wanted to be in final more than the Liverpool. Everton scored a goal in the opening 20 minutes when Jelavic scored in the 24th minute to give Everton a 1-0 lead, although they goal seemed a little offside and it was pretty much avoidable for Liverpool but at halftime what mattered was Everton leading by 1-0.
Liverpool came out with a purpose after the half time and they created a few chances just after the halftime, and Andy Carrol the 35M man missed a great chance at the hour mark.
