Wigan 1-0 Manchester United Highlights Maloney Goal Video April 2012

In the English Premier League match to be played on Wednesday night we will have Manchester United taking on Wigan Athletic in what should be a good game and It will be interesting to see how United go about this match after going 8 points clear at the top of the table. With just 6 more matches to be played they will definatley be looking to keep the gap at the top of the table as much as they can so that when they go into the Manchester Derby they will have enough space to play without pressure.

Wigan on the other and will be looking to get somthing out of this match as they are in the relegationz zone with just 28 points to their name and with 6 more games to go they will have to win a couple of games so that they can get out of the zone before the last game of the season, so since they are playing at the home at DW stadium they will be confident of getting atleast a point in this one.

Manchester United had a strange season this time around, although they have been playing well in the league since the turn of the year but they performed poorly in Europe and kicked out of the domestic competition and they will have to win the league now or it will be a disaster. If we look at the past 5 meetings between the two sides we can see that Manchester United have been too powerfull for Wigan as they never scored a goal in the last five games and conceded around 21 goals against United in 5 matches so it is easy to say that United at hot favourites to get all three points in this one.
